Bruno Mars arrives in Manila

MANILA, Philippines – Filipino-American singer Bruno Mars arrived here on Thursday for a 2-night concert.

Mars arrived in Cebu for his Thursday concert at Waterfront Hotel at 7 p.m.

He is set to do another show the following night (Friday) at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

In his official Twitter account, Mars said that he is excited to perform for his Filipino fans.

“I don’t think Cebu knows how excited I am about playing tonight.. I just did 16 sit ups and drank a gallon of Red Bull. #Buckle Up!,” Mars said.

The Filipino-American artist, a rising RB star, is behind the hit songs “Just The Way You Are,” “Grenade,” “Marry You” and “Nothin’ On You.”

Mars is one of the big international stars who are set to perform in the country this year.

The list also includes Justin Bieber.

Last February Taylor Swift also staged a concert at the Big Dome.
